Principal's Message

Dear Faculty, Staff and Parents,

We are embarking on a new year filled with wonder, excitement and achievement.  As we begin the new year, we must join together to make our school as unique as each of us, as strong as all of us and as cherished as our fondest memories.  Each of our students here at South Plaquemines Elementary are worthy of our best effort, our most sound training, and our daily commitment to their learning.

Together we will make the difference in our students' lives. This year we will begin our journey towards rebuilding our community and fostering the hope of renewal with in our students.  We must concentrate on reaching our goals by evaluating where we have been and what we have accomplished, determining our course of direction for the future, and formulating a plan that will help us cross the finish line successfully. As our students will grow, so will we, in fulfilling our own destiny.

Welcome aboard to the best school in the parish.  You can make the difference. Together we will reach our goals.
